To use this machine, you have to assemble it first. After that, you need to follow the steps to use it.
Steps to Assemble A Soda Stream:
When you purchase a soda stream machine, it comes in separate parts; you need to assemble it before use. This machine comes with a user manual. You can read the manual to assemble it. However, if you don’t have a manual, we can help you. Follow these simple steps to assemble your soda stream at home.
Step 1: Remove the Machine from Box
The first thing you need to do is remove the machine from the box or package. You will get all the parts with the machine. Keep all the parts on the kitchen counter. Check if there is a manual. You can either use it or follow these steps.
Step 2: Check the Parts
Now, you need to check if all the parts are there on the counter. It will include the main soda stream machine. Then you will get a carbonated bottle. With some machines, you get one bottle while with others, you get two bottles. You also need to check the soda canister. This is the main part of the machine. With a canister, you cannot use this machine. It is replaceable. You can purchase a new one if the old one becomes empty.
Step 3: Prepare Soda Canister
In this step, you need to prepare the soda canister. It contains carbon dioxide gas. When this gas is sprayed into the water, it becomes fizzy. This canister comes with a seal and screw. To prepare it, you need to remove the seal and the cap. You will be able to see the canister opening through which the gas passes in the machine.
Step 4: Remove the Back Panel of the Machine
Immediately after you prepare the canister, you need to remove the back panel of the machine. Turn the machine back, hold it with one hand and use the other hand to remove the back panel. It is completely removable. You can remove and fix it to insert the canister into the machine.
Step 5: Insert the Soda Canister
After removing the panel, you need to take the canister and insert it into the machine. You will be able to see a white nozzle. Insert the opened mouth of the canister into the nozzle. After that, you need to fix it thoroughly.
Step 6: Fix Firmly
Once you fix the canister, you need to screw it in. Move it in a circular motion until it is firmly fixed in the machine. Make sure you don’t keep it loose.
Step 7: Put the Back Panel
Now, you can put the back panel back. Hold it with one hand and put the bottom part first and then click the top part. You will hear a click sound once it is fit.
Step 8: Clean Carbonated Bottle
After assembling two of the most important parts of the machine, you need to move toward the bottle. You will get one or two bottles with the machine. It would help if you used only these bottles to make carbonated water. Don’t use any other bottle. It would help if you cleaned the bottle first. You can rinse it with cold water and dry it with a paper towel.
Step 9: Fill the Bottle
Once the bottle is clean, you need to fill it with normal tap water. There is a max line given on the bottle. Fill it up to the mark. Don’t overfill or else the water will spill out of it.
Step 10: Load It into the Machine
After filing the bottle, you have to load it into the machine. This part can be tricky. To easily fit the bottle, you need to angle the support handle given with the machine. Angle it outward and push the bottle with the same angle in the machine.
First, you need to push it up and then push it back so that the bottle firmly gets fixed in the machine. Once the bottle is fixed, you need to push the button on the top of the machine to add carbon dioxide to the water. Ideally, you need to push it only 4 to 5 times, but if you want more fizz, push it 7 to 8 times.
